What’s Is the future of the United States?

Is the United States mentioned or referenced to in Bible Prophecy?

Fifty million legal abortions since 1973 would seem to make the future of America look very bleak indeed. The Bible makes numerous references to the grievousness of shedding innocent blood in a land (for example: Deuteronomy 19:10,13; Deuteronomy 21:9; II Kings 21:16; Joel 3:19). Certainly our legalizing of the slaughter of the unborn, the most innocent among us, is going to bring God’s judgment upon us. We fight for the guilty (those who are against the death penalty) and kill the innocent. How sad! Is an eagle worth more than a child? Jesus said that we are worth more than many sparrows. But killing an unborn eagle is illegal, while killing an unborn child, made in the image of God, is not. So I would assume that God’s judgment will be upon this land for the terrible holocaust of abortion.

Homosexuality is another abomination against God (Genesis 19:5-8; Ex 22:19; Lev. 18:22,23; 20:13,15,16;Deut. 23:17; Judges 19:22; Romans 1:26-27) and will bring God’s judgment upon this land or nation. Israel was commended by God when homosexuality was dealt with (I Kings 14:24; 15:12; 46, II Kings 23:7) but Sodom, Gomorrah and the cities of the plain are reminders of God’s judgment upon this unnatural act.

In the book of Revelation it seems that the European Union and the East are the two major world powers. Ezekiel 38, 39 seem to indicate a Russian/Islamic axis which tries to invade Israel in the future, failing miserably. But the silence of the United States of America is deafening. We appear to be non-players. Sadly, this seems to be what is currently occurring on the world stage. A staggering $11 trillion debt, $55 trillion in future outlays, seems destined to reduce America to almost third-world status. I hope I am wrong, but Deuteronomy chapter 28 gives the blessing and curses on nations for their obedience or disobedience to God and his commandments. The word of God will never change!  It is forever settled!

We have to remember that we are on God’s economy, not the world’s. If we give the Lord his tithes and offerings, live and put our trust in God (that means submitting this flesh to the spirit of God and letting the “spirit of God” lead and direct this flesh). Anytime you let the flesh lead you...big troubles lie ahead! If we are in "unity" with God. and we are totally submitted to the will of God, he (God) will protect us throughout this unstable period. Look up and lift up your head, our redemption draweth nigh!
