Come Home

The call goes forth....come home! There's been many times when the day was finished and our mothers would step out the door of the house and call our name...come home! Today, there are people scattered all over this world who fall into the same category as the “Prodigal Son” in Luke 15:4. They need to make up their mind and go back to their “Father's House.” I'm talking about people who over the years have drifted or strayed away from church. The Church is your Father's House! You have been out in the world...battling the elements of time, all the struggles and heartaches. I'm telling you that your enemy (the adversary) will confuse you, he will play tricks on you and worst of all...he will deceive you and steal your soul! Many times people think that they'll only do something that they know isn't right just one time. That thought is a lie from the bottom pits of hell! The devil will always take you farther than you intended to go! It does not matter how far you have drifted out upon the “sea of life” the “Father's House Apostolic Church” is still there waiting and watching for you to make up your mind to come home! Just as a “lighthouse” sends forth it's beacon through the fog and clouds to help ships steer clear of rocks, reef's and treacherous places....so does “My Father's House Apostolic Church” send forth it's warning to lost souls...come home! Yes, the Father still calls...come home!

When you come to the realization of where you are and what has happened to you, you need to follow the prodigal son's example, make a wise choice and come home! There will not be any harsh treatment...rather, there will be a celebration! There are people in the “Father”s House” who will be your friend. You have family there who loves you and cares for you! These people have been and will continue to pray for you and encourage you! According to the Bible...the angels in heaven rejoice when a sinner or backslider repents! The Bible tells us to sit down and reason together or work things out. Consider your ways and where you're at. Don't you feel like it would be the right thing to do? Listen to that small inner voice...be obedient to the Lord...Come Home!

In another parable, the Bible talks about the “lost sheep”(Luke 15:11-32). I remember when we were children at home, at the end of the day my mother would not rest until the last child was safe at home. When the last child walked safely through the door, mom would let out a sigh of relief and thank the Lord that all were now safe! People...we are at the end of the day and we (the church) are praying and patiently waiting at the door for the last child to come home! There's going to be an awesome celebration when that last child walks through the door! God has not given up on you, we (the church) have not given up on you...so, do not give up on yourself! You're part of (the body of Christ)...Come Home!!
